Rebates for reverse-cycle air conditioners in Australia are set state by state, not nationally — Victoria and the ACT have confirmed, active schemes; New South Wales and South Australia have active schemes with genuinely variable amounts; and for the remaining states, we've checked and either found the scheme closed (Queensland) or found nothing dedicated to reverse-cycle systems specifically (Western Australia, Tasmania).
Where a figure is shown, it's sourced directly from the scheme administrator, with a link and a last-verified date — check that date before relying on it, since these schemes change.
